I hope you ALL are ready for what will be a 2015 to remember. First we want to BID A FOND FAREWELL TO THE 6-PACK, We are sorry to say that Miles '6-PACK' Starr and STOLEN ROSE have parted ways. Not to worry it was on good terms and we will ALWAYS APPRECIATE the time with that BADASS behind the kit. Of course you will be able to PRESERVE his time with us as we are about to release STOLEN ROSE 'RISE' our first Studio album which features of course 6-PACK, Me and Penny, but we decided to ask some of the BEST OF THE NORTHWEST to guest on different songs filling the lead guitar player role and a new sound in HARMONICA player FREIGHT TRAIN DAVE.
During the tracking there was a STAND OUT AXE SLINGER and luckily he was looking for a new project MR. NATHAN MEYERS who just happened to be who we asked to play the lead on The Title Track RISE. So things were starting to come together. With a couple of NEW and PERMANENT members and almost all the tracks recorded STOLEN ROSE went back to playing LIVE including a KILLER SET Opening up THE OREGON'S BREWERS FESTIVAL,The biggest Brewfest in the western hemisphere, and also started post production.
Finally by thanksgiving very little was left but mastering and getting the ORIGINAL ARTWORK by local artist Elyse Taylor laid out. I'm happy to say that by SPRING we will RELEASE THE KRAKEN (hehehe) There will hopefully be included a last minute ADDITION,AS I SAID EARLIER we parted ways with 6-pack WEEEEEELLL we HIT THE LOTTERY. We made ONE CALL to A MONSTER OF THUNDER MR. ANDY STARR former drummer of LAST DAYS OF DREAMS we couldn't have been more excited to hear he was available and set up a jam and THAT WAS IT GODDAMN LIGHTNING! So after only 4 weeks of hitting it hard we have begun TAKING 2015 by the short hairs.
SO HERE WE GO we've got some gr8 gigs already confirmed our name in the hat for various festivals around OREGON & THE U.S. and some FRESH MERCH with the CD in a couple months and THE SHIRTS NOW! They will be only available at shows for now but when the CD is duplicated and officially released we will be adding a STORE to the site so EVERYONE EVERYWHERE CAN SHOW THEIR LOVE FOR STOLEN ROSE.
